It is up to the building owner or interested party to itemize and report these defects to their builder, ensuring they are resolved before completion of the job. Our independent snag reporting service and extensive industry experience will ensure that no defects are left unaccounted for and allows you peace of mind during and after the construction process.  

If existing issues with the building have not been investigated before commencement of your lease, the leaseholder could potentially be held liable for problems unrelated to their use of the building.
Our condition inspection service includes a thorough inspection of your building and a comprehensive report itemizing and detailing any preexisting issues with the building. By purchasing a Property Condition Inspection Survey you can avoid any hidden surprises at the end of your lease.

Depending on your requirements, we can also inspect the building's plumbing and mechanical equipment as part of our reporting service.

A comprehensive electrical survey can alert you to any potentially dangerous problems with the wiring in your building. We will ensure your property complies with all relevant standards of electrical safety by conducting thorough checks on all wiring, insulation, switches and appliances. When we complete your inspection a detailed checklist will be provided to you outlining any areas in need of attention, recommendations for improving your building's electrical safety and guidelines for future upgrades. Lux levels will also be measured to ensure the property's lighting meets your requirements.

Structural inspections are typically carried out prior to purchasing or leasing a building. It is recommended to have an experienced surveyor check the structural condition of your building to make sure you're not in for any surprises down the line. Upon completion of the survey, a report will be provided which details any problem areas, recommended work and guidelines for the repair of any issues found. Photographs of damage will be included for reference in the future.  

In April 2018, Worksafe are bringing in new legislation under the Health and Safety at Work act. These regulations will require every commercial property to implement an asbestos management plan. An asbestos management plan identifies where asbestos has been used in the building and highlights any problem areas so plans can be made for remediation.
